The Right Honourable Speaker of the National Assembly of Lesotho and his delegation, accompanied by the UNDP Resident Representative and the UN Resident Coordinator in The Gambia, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency President Adama Barrow.
Discussions reaffirmed the importance of African-led solutions, stronger regional cooperation, and innovative approaches to financing sustainable development.
President Barrow underscored the importance of domestic resource mobilization and The Gambia's commitment to financing its own development priorities while delivering tangible improvements in people's lives. He also welcomed continued collaboration and knowledge exchange among African countries.
The visit reflects the growing importance of #SouthSouthCooperation as African nations work together to accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
