@LilUziVartan @JorCru This is something I've thought about in horror films in recent years. You can actually get away with a bit more, character-wise, when characters are younger and more naive or ignorant–which is different from "dumb," but can still jove w/ an individual character.

@isaiahsofyne Probably because the film absolutely blows. I saw it this week. The plot is interminable, the characters are insipid, and the gore is meaningless and downright boring, if I'm being honest. There's lots of good horror out now. Watch *anything* else.

Saw an advance screening of Corporate Retreat. This was one of the dumbest, most tedious, and downright boring horror films I've seen in years.

There's gore, but it's meaningless, & the story is mind-numbingly stupid. Complete waste of time.

@EliteClubS0B Love how they're handling Danhausen. If they treat curses like a real threat a couple more times–or show that the curses are rea/impact outcomesl–he'll get over.

Also, Mizhausen has legit comedy potential.

Scream is my favorite horror franchise.
Scream 7 has a fun first half and an aggressively disappointing second half. Overall, it was… OK. But certainly one of the weakest of the bunch.
