@LynelleKells @DisneylandAP The Mickey and Friends structure also has tons of parking. Those facts are both irrelevant; there’s still plenty of parking spaces available. The implication is that they are trying to keep Downtown Disney crowds at their desired level by restricting people’s ability to park.

@TheDigriz It makes it so less people can park which helps reduce the number of people able to enter Downtown Disney, keeping crowds below the desired capacity.
Clarification: While the lot still has parking spaces available, Disneyland Resort has closed it to arriving guests to keep Downtown Disney at their desired capacity.
