Indiana’s Progressives Must Unite!🌹

Across our State, corrupt corporate power is tightening its grip while an entrenched authoritarian Republican super-majority weakens organized labor, restricts our personal freedom, tries to shove organized religion and antiquated values down our children's throats in the public square, and shuts out the vast majority of Hoosiers from meaningful representation and political power.

We cannot defeat the Braun regime while divided.

Progressives, democratic socialists, labor organizers, leftists, environmentalists, civil-rights advocates, and every Hoosier fighting for liberty and resisting authoritarianism must recognize that our common struggle is greater than our ideological differences. We will not agree on everything, but we share a common enemy in corporate tyranny, economic exploitation, and the growing threat of far-right authoritarianism in our state.

The Indiana Socialist Solidarity Alliance, therefore, calls upon all Hoosier Leftists and Progressives to build a united front against fascism and the injustice of capitalism by promoting and advocating for genuine progressive and socialistic candidates who stand with working people, whether they run as a Democrat or as a 3rd party candidate.

Wherever an allied candidate is fighting corporate power, defending civil rights, organized labor, and challenging Indiana’s undemocratic super-majority, they should be able to count on the support of every true progressive and socialist statewide, regardless of organization or affiliation.

No organization, tendency, or individual can overcome this system by itself. Our opponents possess money, institutional power, and a political machine built over nearly 20 years. Only through our collective strength in progressive and working-class solidarity can we hope to destroy the power of the Republican Party’s authoritarian machine.

Whether urban or rural, industrial or agricultural, union, public, or private sector, reformist or revolutionary, we must all unite as one.

A divided Left will continue to lose. A united movement can transform Indiana.

We hope to foster a greater sense of statewide community and collaboration!
