Saturday night was my last fight in the UFC.
16 years. 29 fights, including my time in the Ultimate Fighter house. One hell of a journey.
I didn’t get my hand raised, but I’m incredibly proud of my performance, proud of my opponent, and genuinely happy for him.
For the first time, I was able to slow down and truly experience it all—the weeks leading up to the fight, fight week, the walk to the Octagon, and everyone who’s been beside me through the highs and lows. Including the 13 coaches and training partners we’ve lost. RIP.
I gave this sport everything I had. Sometimes my best was great. Sometimes it was just okay. Saturday night, I was okay—and okay is good enough for me.
I’m grateful for the wins, the losses, the lessons, the people, and every damn moment in between.
What a journey. Thank you. ❤️
Lawyerforworkers says Lil Durk’s lawyers may file a motion arguing he can’t be charged again over conduct he was already found not guilty of, claiming the Chicago VICAR count is based on the L.A. charges.
Lil Durk’s bond review hearing has officially been scheduled for November 4th, where Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald will decide whether he will be released on bond.
Lil Durk thanks Kanye West for sending him $300K while he was incarcerated:
“Ye, I appreciate it, brother. I fucking love you. Can’t wait to see you on the other side... That means a lot to me, to the city, to the culture.”
To the youth, I need y’all to hear me. There were times in my life when I felt lost and couldn’t see beyond what was right in front of me. I know how deeply your environment and surroundings can influence the way you think, the choices you make, and what you believe is possible for your life, but they don’t have to determine who you become.
Growth is real, and it’s never too late to choose a different direction.
My responsibility is to use my voice and my platform to build, motivate, and create more opportunities for the next generation. That work didn’t start today, and it won’t stop here.
Choose your future. Choose your family. Choose growth.
I’m standing with y’all. We’re moving forward with purpose. ❤️
Jon, I’m not trying to diminish your achievements in any way. But your whole life seems to be tied to breaking the rules one way or another, and somehow, you’re never the one to be blamed.
