To ease access to clean water for highland communities in Kigezi, @CommonGroundUg is helping to provide different water source. The include water tanks, spring wells and gravity water. We have started visiting some water source to see the impact. @NLinUganda @ISSDUganda

Community members of Burafula lower and Upper in Bududa District are enjoying clean and safe water. @CommonGroundUg is constructing spring wells in various communities and today we visited Burafula where communities are too excited. @NLinUganda @ISSDUganda

Community members of Mpundu, located in Chahafi Town Council in Kisoro District, are constructing contour reversed bench terraces at Murambi restoration site. The community is being supported by the @CommGroundUg, and more than 200 members have been actively present. @NLinUganda

Meet Orishaba Janet a PIP Farmer from Ahamuhambo in Kabale who used Parish Development Modal funds to implement her household PIP. She used the 1M to buy a cow that became magic in her home. From the cow she has bought land .... @NLinUganda @ISSDUganda

From the cow Orishaba bought land, bought solar and TV, hired farmland from where she planted potatoes 🥔 that she harvested and sold to get Shs3.7m. She bought another cow and piglets. @NLinUganda @ISSDUganda

Meet Ayebale Sonia, a PIP Farmer from Kirwa-Butambi community in Rubanda district who after receiving PDM funds she invested in bulking sorghum, which she later sold and used the money to buy a young bull and 20 chicks. @NLinUganda @ISSDUganda

They also sold some chicken and bought a sheep. Today the cow has grown, and it provides dung that they use in their gardens for fertility. The sheep have produced twice, and now they have five sheep, which are also providing droppings for the gardens. @NLinUganda @ISSDUganda

Meet Brian Atuhaire a PIP Farmer from Kihesi in Kaharo subcounty in Kabale @KabaleLocal who received PDM funds and bought Sheep and pigs inorder to get droppings for improving fertility of his land. @NLinUganda @ISSDUganda

Members of Bumushiso-Bukhaukha community in Bududa came together and established stone bunds in Nasimba Restoration site. IFTs took the lead in training other members on how to establish contours and laying the stones. @NLinUganda @ISSDUganda

Farmers in Bunyangabu have had a learning visit at Ruhooko banana demo garden. The Farmers learnt about selection of quality banana seedlings, preparing planting holes, and establishment of trenches for improved banana production. @NLinUganda @ISSDUganda
