@TimHundley4All I have good cries every now and then, but more often bad cries. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, and I'm living proof. Compound trauma=PTSD.
OCTOBER 7, 2023: SHE KNEW SHE WAS GOING TO DIE.
Libi Cohen-Meguri, a 22-year-old infantry officer, went to the Nova music festival.
She was shot while fleeing the party. At 8:11 a.m., she called her parents and said:
“I’ve been shot in the stomach, I’ve been shot in the arm, I’m losing blood. I’m going to die.”
Calmly, quietly, she understood; these were the last minutes of her life.
She asked her parents to call Tomer, her twin brother, and Maya, her little sister, and said:
“I’m going to die. I just want you to listen to me.
I love you, Yariv. You’re the best father I could have asked for.
Mom, stop screaming. Just listen to me. You are the best mother we could have ever had. Don’t forget to be a good mother to Tomer and Maya after I die.
Tomer, how lucky we were to live this life together. I love you.
My Maya, never forget—you are the treasure of my life.”
When she finished speaking, her parents told her to get out of the car, lie down on the road, and pretend to be dead.
With her last bit of strength, she got out of the car and laid down on the road.
“Mom, they’re coming to shoot me again,” Libi said after lying down.
While her mother listened on the phone, shouts in Arabic could be heard, and then a barrage of gunfire.
It didn’t stop.
It kept going, until the call was disconnected.
And that’s how Libi died—with demonic beasts from the pit of hell standing over her and emptying a full magazine into her body.
Libi died with LOVE on her lips: love for life, love for her family, and love for her people.
Her memory will forever be a blessing.
NEVER FORGET.
NEVER FORGIVE.
NEVER AGAIN IS NOW.
Israel is hunting down every single Palestinian and Hamas terrorist who participated in the October 7th Massacre—to kill them all.
They’re living on “borrowed time,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
Sooner or later, every one of these monsters will be found and eliminated.
@AccredoPharmacy nothing like AI calling me to fill a medication i no longer take, mailed to an emergency address from vacation 2 months ago. Put me on hold for 20 minutes, unacceptable.
NEW: Democratic Rep Cindy Ryu admits her party plans to lower the threshold on the income tax from millionaires to everyone in WA state & that she wants to tax companies more
She told KUOW, "Let's look at less, about 250,000. Can we live well on$250,000 a year of net income?"
Washington State Constitution Article II: SECTION 19. BILL TO CONTAIN ONE SUBJECT - “No bill shall embrace more than one subject, and that shall be expressed in the title”
The Washington Supreme Court struck down the natural gas ban initiative because of this rule.
However the capital gains tax is far broader than that initiative and the same Supreme Court upheld that bill and deemed it to have a “rational unity” between completely unrelated subjects.
From that ruling… Footnote 9: "Under Article II, Section 19, a bill does not violate the single-subject requirement if there is a 'rational unity' among its provisions."
The same judge wrote both of these conflicting opinions, Debra Stephens.
We have an activist court that puts agendas first. That needs to change.
That change starts with Dave, David, Scott, Sean and Todd Bloom (who is running against Debra Stephens.
🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting after a 22-year-old who runs into BURNING BUILDINGS as a volunteer firefighter was told he isn't qualified to be a paid firefighter...
...because he was HOMESCHOOLED.
Then the city changed the job posting to cover it up.
His name is Andrew Coates. He's 22 years old, in Nebraska.
Right now, today, he runs into burning buildings as a volunteer firefighter for Cedar Bluffs Fire. He is a state-licensed EMT.
He is doing the job. For free.
All he wanted was to get PAID to do it. In his words: "Make a career out of it would be the goal. To get paid to do what you love."
So he applied to the Fremont Fire Department.
And in April, the city rejected him. Why?
Because his high school diploma says he was homeschooled.
That's it. That's the whole disqualification.
Not his EMT license.
Not his fitness.
Not his record.
Not his experience pulling people out of fires ALREADY!!
...how he was educated.
The job posting he applied to said "graduation from high school."
That's all it said.
He graduated high school.
He has a diploma.
And AFTER they rejected him, the city went back and added the word "accredited" to the job description.
His own fire chief, the man who has watched Andrew work, showed up to defend him:
"I feel the city of Fremont is really missing out here, and in my mind, because of his homeschooling, you guys are discriminating against him."
Over THIRTY homeschool families showed up to stand behind this kid.
And the Civil Service Commission? They said it isn't their job to touch city policy.
Homeschoolers are literally a generation of kids who read ABOVE grade level, who work with their HANDS, who volunteer in their communities, who show up for their neighbors.
And this young man is the proof.
At 22, he's a certified EMT and a volunteer firefighter, while plenty of his peers are on a couch.
When your house is on fire at 3 a.m., I promise you will not ask the man dragging your children out where he went to high school.
You will not ask if his diploma was accredited.
You will thank GOD he came.
Andrew isn't even fighting for himself anymore. His words:
"I think now it's turned into we want to make sure that every homeschooler has an equal opportunity."
That's a better man than the policy that rejected him.
Fremont, you have a licensed EMT and an active firefighter begging to serve your city. And you turned him down over paperwork, then rewrote the paperwork to cover it.
Fix this.
Hire him!!!!!!!
The city of Spokane is refusing to waive demolition permit fees for fire victims. After losing EVERYTHING, victims have to pay $500 to cap the water and sewer lines under their burned out house. What the fuck is the point of paying taxes? Just like California, Washington uses taxpayer dollars to buy crackpipes and heroin needles for unemployed homeless drug zombies, but when you, the working class taxpayer, lose everything you have through no fault of your own, you still have to pay for this?
These city leaders are so fucking petty they'll still force fire victims to pay $35 for permission to demolish their own destroyed home. Why? You couldn't just waive it? For $35? Yeah, it's not a lot of money, but that actually makes it worse...forcing a fire victim to cough up a meager sum that in NO way actually funds the process in any meaningful way just shows that you are doing it out of spite. Just a nice little "fuck you" to the peasants.
Additionally, the state of Washington is forcing fire victims to pay sales tax to replace the items they lost in the fire. Again...why? The state was never factoring in that revenue...it never existed on the balance sheet BUT for the fire. Government is collecting a windfall from people's LOSSES. There's literally zero need to collect taxes on shit that people already owned.
Back during the mid 90's floods, the state legislature passed a sales tax exemption for victims replacing their stuff. If they don't do this in their next leg session, they all need to go. The one thing WA did is cut property tax on their burned out homes, which is the absolute least they could do.
You assholes never maintain your forests, everybody lost everything, their pets burned alive, and now you're going tack on an extra 9.1% to the cost of rebuilding their lives...for what? Not to mention the fact that a couch today costs probably 2x as much as when they first bought the one they just lost. I fucking hate these people, man.
@CarrieMyHart Totally normal, my parents and I have a requirement, that we text when we arrive safely, even if it's only 15 minutes away. You're a good mom!
Just when you thought Gavin Newsom couldn't get any more scummy, he's now pushing a new bill, SB1153 to protect more utility companies from wildfire liability, this time exempting water districts from having any responsibility to maintain a water supply for firefighting. The fact that they are pushing this is a tacit admission that the LADWP is absolutely liable in the Palisades Fire case, otherwise they wouldn't need this. Remember, LADWP infamously drained BOTH of our reservoirs in the Palisades right before the fire, leaving us bone dry and defenseless. The Santa Ynez Reservoir was specifically designed for firefighting purposes, which is why its 117 million gallons, and has a dedicated helispot for fire copters. Spokespeople lie about this fact, and use climate change, yet again, as their get out of jail free card, saying that fire hydrants aren't meant for "climate-driven wildfires". You can't hate these people enough.

Stephen A. Smith says he was warned by his estate planners to leave California every weekend because the government would TRACK his phone calls, then uses that data to collect MORE taxes.
He thought they were kidding. Then he got his tax returns. They weren’t.
What’s happening here is the “jock tax” in effect, which is California’s way of collecting more money from entertainers and athletes based on days worked or spent in the state.
And here’s the disturbing part.
California’s tax collectors pull cell phone records to show where you were when you took your calls so they can prove you were still hanging out in Cali so they can hit you with another taxable day.
Smith got sick of Gavin Newsom taxing him to death and moved his ass out of California. He now lives in Florida.
SMITH: “I’m sitting down with my estate planners and all of that. And they said, ‘Look, when the weekend arrives, it would be in your best interest to go to Vegas or to Utah or something.’ I said, ‘Why?’ And they said, ‘Well, if you stay in California, you know, IRS, they ping your phone. So, anytime you get a call or you’re on the phone, they know that you’re in the state. And that counts as a tax day.’
“And I said, ‘You got to be kidding me.’ And sure enough, when I saw my tax returns, it was absolutely correct.”
This jock tax is not small money, either.
Shaquille O’Neal found that out the hard way. His first year with the Lakers, he signed for $20,000,000.
By the time taxes were done with it, his check came in at $10,900,000 for the year.
Then the jockey tax took another $4,000,000.
And Shaq walked away with about $7 million out of the 20. Two-thirds of his paycheck went to taxes.
🔥🔥WASHINGTON STATE DEMOCRATS CUT $1.2 BILLION FROM MEDICAID AND APPLE HEALTH 2025-26.🔥🔥
Now they have the nerve to blame Trump for the damage.
DEMS control the House, Senate, governor’s office, and the state budget. Every one of these cuts was THEIR call. DEMS cut care for seniors, people with disabilities, people who need long-term care, and the doctors, clinics, and hospitals trying to keep the doors open.
Then they ran to the microphones and screamed “Trump” like voters are too dumb to read a budget.
Here’s the truth: WASHINGTON DEMOCRATS CUT HEALTHCARE. Dems own the fallout. And now they are using vulnerable Washington patients as political props to cover for their own failure.
