🔴 WHY CLUSTER BOMBS IN UKRAINE IS A HIDEOUS IDEA:
The Biden regime has OK’d the supply of cluster bombs to Ukraine.

The use of cluster bombs is prohibited by 120 nations, including most UN states.

All bombs are bad, but these are viewed as particularly bad for a number of reasons, the main two being:

1️⃣ They are indiscriminate: dozens of small bombs are released by each canister, spreading randomly without precision, often killing innocent civilians at a high rate;

2️⃣ They have a high failure rate, with a large percentage not exploding on impact — this means they lie dormant, often for decades, waiting to kill anyone who steps on one.

🔴 LAOS: A CASE STUDY OF MISERY
The US dropped so many cluster bombs on Laos during the Vietnam War that is became the most bombed country in the world.

Shockingly, the US was never at war with Laos — the bombs were dropped to stop Vietnamese using the Ho Chi Minh Trail along the border.

80 million unexploded cluster bombs remain in Laos today, killing men, women and children every year. It is estimated that 35% of Laos is littered with UXO (unexploded ordinances) to this day.

There are reportedly 300 casualties every year, 40% of whom are children.

Even despite Washington just a year ago describing the use of cluster bombs as “a war crime,” the fact that the Ukraine gov’t is even agreeing to use such munitions on their own land is absolutely mind boggling.

If cluster bombs are used in any number across Ukraine, the country will face a massive struggle in the decades to come, just as Laos does to this day, half a century after the Vietnam war.
