@GHBSmith Loving the game but some things just went too far. Between things like this and the amount of fast travel locations it’s crazy. Some of the travel locations make absolutely no sense!
@TooDiffizzle Finding out how new systems work is fun and interesting why handhold week 1 just grind. Also frustrations can come from choosing to be optimal. That can suck some fun out cause that’s how ppl like to play. It seems Destiny suffers from I bought expansion so I deserve T5 week one
@Nuts4secret @JellyVisibly @scholarorder I would definitely hear that argument for SOTE. As far as base Elden Ring I’m not sure Limgrave, Lunaria and Caelid could be considered empty and boring. Caves/world bosses. Dragonburrow, Weeping Peninsula and the Ranni quest. The entire Ranni quest takes place in the open world
@Gigz@SeanFrancis This very true. The game has needed a hard reset for years. Every attempt is met with major friction or just not handled correctly. Example Beyond Light launch and Variks rewards a Long Shadow.
@Siofra_Mariner IMO I think the newer games still have top level designs. I think Elden ring and shadow of the erdtree had great level designs. Stormveil castle, Lindell with the sewers, The Haligtree, Shadow Keep etc. The maze like maps are still there. Not everything can b Yharnam.
@MacticsG1 Because I would at the very least play D3 a game with entirely new systems and mechanics. Or a version of D2 where every weapon/item/gear is totally sunset or useless. A new game has the potential to feel rewarding again. Nothing in Destiny 2 will ever feel like that.
@Aztecross Final shape was great ending to playing for 10 years. The route items and gear went just was not satisfying anymore. I would definitely play a “D3” or a D2 with a full item and gear reset or “sunset”. Will always love Destiny. So many awesome memories.
