@stickybloke @ron_eisele Ah, similar to stories of soda cans jamming vehicle throttle or brake pedals on downhills. (these might be apocryphal and used by school bus drivers to encourage kids not to litter ๐)
https://t.co/FDdXYnNgQJ launches Technology Sustainability Standards. What does this mean for ITAM and ITAD, and how can they contribute? #TheITAMReview#SAM#ITAM https://t.co/OwA51S2j8u
@robynjournalist It's probably what's allowed in the contract and the limit of what they can do short of summary dismissal for gross misconduct. Gives them time to gauge the reception and potentially for DS/Team Management to discuss further action.
Utterly chilling. In less than a month I'll be presenting at a conference at an FLA university. The people there are genuinely open, warm, and welcoming. Just wondering if my rainbow laces will get past border control.
I tend to take claims like these with a grain of salt.
But I just went line-by-line through the DeSantis education bill. And you guys, itโs *bananas*. A road map for wrecking one of our great state systems of higher education. ๐งต 1/
@cschneid65@Funk2funkDiaz@NoContextBrits Well, the Tories are thinking of bringing in legislation to allow mortgages to continue after death, so we've gone beyond that.
@CiarliniKoerner@iamabofh@ron_eisele The British really did have a huge swathe of obsolete kit at the start of the war. My knowledge of the Blenheim's general uselessness comes from reading Battle and Commando comics, remember a story where there was a squadron pleased to finally get upgraded with Wellingtons
@DrHelenFry@curlyboy1975@rgpoulussen Highly recommend @TankMuseum experience days for that. Got to sit in the driver's seat of their Sherman, really wanted to get a sense of what it was like for my grandad. Cramped, hot, noisy, smelly - and that was a museum tank, not one that had been in the desert for weeks
@row_dave @soulripper30 @robynjournalist The original question was about Ineos riders, hence me mentioning Froome's crash. I'd completely forgotten about Bernal's. Been plenty of pros injured in the off-season
@korkybuczek@kil0ran@sid_lambert Iconic goal, celebration, and commentary, agreed. I loved that final. The first one I really remember and none better.
@soulripper30 @robynjournalist Ah good point, I'd forgotten that one (mainly because I heard how horrific it was at the time and had no desire to watch it)
