Argentina wouldn't face such difficulty obtaining the islands if it wasn't for their behaviour in the past and now towards the islanders. Stop being dicks and in 50 years they may want to join you.

Well Spain didn't occupy them before the British, Spain didn't occupy them when Argentina became a country, Argentina didn't occupy them post-1833, Argentina don't occupy them post-1982. The only way the Falklands will leave British rule is if the local population want to do so. @DiegoNayguz @10ozrumpsteak @BurstonSteven @Civixplorer The Spanish claim to the islands was based on the Line of Demarcation. That's why they forced the French to leave the western isle. The British not recognising Spanish sovereignty continued to occupy the eastern isle. Britain still claimed sovereignty despite temporarily leaving.
