The Texas House stood firm against vouchers, voting against them twice.

Our message is clear: Public dollars are for public schools.

Vouchers divert tax dollars to private and lottery based admission schools, from public schools who will teach any and every student who comes in the door, regardless of their abilities or behavior.

I say 'no' to any taxpayer-funded voucher scam that takes money from public schools and funnels it into unaccountable private institutions.

Breaking: During Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's Impeachment vote, Republican Rep. Charlie Geren stood up and said that Paxton is threatening several members of the Texas House of Representatives with consequences if they vote in support of his impeachment.

Paxton has literally made phone calls to members of the House telling them they will receive political retribution if they vote to impeach him.

Shouldn’t the lawmakers add a 21st Article of impeachment for obstruction of justice?
