Thank you, teachers! From working long nights to weekends, you go above and beyond for your students. As we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, let’s support our teachers by investing in public schools.

@NC_Governor The vast majority of private schools are religiously affiliated. Vouchers and tuition tax credits almost entirely benefit religious schools with overtly religious missions, which integrate religion into every subject.
Investments in public schools and teacher pay are more important than billions of dollars for private school vouchers and tax breaks for the wealthy. Educators, business leaders and school boards are calling on legislators to invest in public schools.

Republican legislators want to take taxpayer dollars away from public schools and give it to millionaires to send their kids to private school. Education and business leaders are continuing to urge legislators to make real investments in public education.

The brain of young children is responsive to loving & nurturing interventions. If we ID the child affected by prenatal alcohol exposure & provide behavioral health support and interventions before the age of 6, we can change the child's developmental trajectory for the better.
@DrBradJohnson Covering 2 classes (staffing shortage), TSG data, IEP’s, ECERS certification process, LETRS training (which I had been looking forward to until everything else). I’m beyond overwhelmed this year. Class is great, love my kiddos.
OK, I have had so many teachers message me that they are already burned out. So, I am going to give away (2) $50.00 gift cards (paypal) on Friday that can be used for massage, dinner, or whatever will help you refill your cup. Just retweet & let me know you're stressed out!
