A special honour to meet in Cairo with the esteemed dr. Ali Shaath, Chief Commissioner of National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, accompanied by key Commissioners of @NCAG, kindly co-attended by Amb. Sašo Podlesnik, Slovenian Ambassador in Cairo.

Important discussion on potential areas of partnership between NCAG and ITF, helping rebuild Gaza 🇵🇸 and Gazans, using the expertise of ITF and its operational experience in medical and #psychosocial rehabilitation, and thus helping the most #vulnerable.

On World #Environment Day 🌍, we reflect on how #MineAction is also environmental recovery - clearing land so it can breathe again, restoring soil, and reopening access to nature, forests, and safe livelihoods. 🌱

Armenian 🇦🇲 family members of those who went missing as a result of armed conflict, are taking part in a #Psychosocial rehabilitation programme in Slovenia, supporting grief and recovery through expert-led sessions and equine-assisted therapy 🐎.

ITF, together with Dr. Anica Mikuš Kos and H.E. Ashot Hovakimian, the Ambassador of Armenia, visited participants yesterday.

Korean donation was also most highly appreciated at the opening of 🐝 Beekeeping Educational Centre for Mine Victims in Mostar/Buna, organised by OSI MEN Mostar.
Both cases are a vivid and concrete confirmation of Korea’s commitment to #MineVictims and to Bosnia Herzegovina - and successful #Parnership between the Republic of Korea, ITF and local BH Mine Victim associations, like our Fantomi & OSI MEN.

For veterans and their families in Ukraine 🇺🇦, humanitarian demining training can open new paths toward recovery & employment.

Last week, our local project partner Unconquered Foundation welcomed partners and media representatives to the training field of the #Humanitarian demining training project, supported by @MZEZ_RS 🇸🇮.
The programme concluded with 20 graduates - including 5 women & 15 men - receiving state-recognized certificates in humanitarian demining.

Yesterday, ITF was honoured to take part in the opening ceremony of the Mine Victim Beekeeping Educational Center for Mine Victims, located along the beautiful Buna River in Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦

We were also honoured to hear encouraging remarks by Dr. Aleš Musar, spouse of the President of Slovenia, and Ms. Marija Buhač, President of the Government of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

In April, ITF and representatives of the 🇺🇸 U.S. Department of State’s PM/WRA office conducted a donor monitoring visit to ITF’s Weapons & Ammunition Management activities in the Kyrgyz Republic 🇰🇬, implemented with the Ministry of Defence of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The visit included renovated storage facilities, inventory management, and demilitarization of obsolete weapons and ammunition - helping reduce security risks, prevent diversion, and strengthen regional stability.

ITF thanks the United States 🇺🇸 and the Kyrgyz MoD for the strong partnership.
