AI has encroached into my life in many ways:
- the company i work for experiments all the time
- my cancer doctors use it to file reports, but gets stuff wrong a lot, annoying to correct
- my apartment just installed an “AI landlord” so i talk to a bot to fix my f’ing toilet
Games that use generative AI should be banned, I don’t care. Humans are the real creators bringing games to life and AI shouldn’t ever be a replacement or a thought in anyone’s head when wanting to make a game
Ai
1) wastes tons of water every day
2) ruins peoples lives (who live near data centers)
3) steals jobs
4) steals identities/creates deepfakes
5) Affects your mental health (ai psychosis)
6) spreads misinformation
I could go on… but after all this you still chose to use it?
Japan seems to be okay with generative AI, which is trained off of stolen existing art and photos, but they will scream, piss and shit themselves the moment someone tries to preserve a game's prototype instead of giving it back to the publisher.
Just been looking back at the Crazy Taxi logo from the last three console games, I gotta be brutally honest, the new logo looks cheap, and inferior compared, like it's made for an iPhone game and not something AAA budget.
Hope you can fix this @SEGA_OFFICIAL@crazytaxi. Arigato 🙇
Idk about you, but when laid out like this, not only do I not want to buy the game because genai is wholly unethical because of its impact on our world, i also can just plainly see these are incompetent creatives with no vision for a game that they needed a computer to make one
“why waste expensive teachers on povvy kids when we can just stick them in front of the machine that gets everything wrong, completely fuck their education up then force them into workfare for the rest of their lives”
Just finished watching this and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.
Kevin Bridges comes across superbly throughout.
