President William Ruto has this evening inspected the ongoing construction of the Bomas International Convention Complex (BICC). The 11000-seat BICC will be one of the biggest Conferencing Facilities in East and Central Africa, if not the world!

This massive project is designed to position Nairobi as a premier global conferencing hub, and it's shaping up to be one of the largest convention centers in East and Central Africa.

Spanning over 323,500 square meters, the BICC boasts impressive features, including a main convention hall with a seating capacity of 5,000 people, an auditorium designed to host 3,500 people, and a ballroom with capacity for up to 1,500 guests. The complex will also have a presidential hall capable of accommodating up to 30 heads of state alongside their delegates, making it an ideal venue for high-level diplomatic meetings and international summits.

Once completed, the project is expected to boost Kenya's economy, create jobs, and position Nairobi as a leading destination for major conferences in the region. The facility will also feature extensive supporting infrastructure, including internal roads, pavements, car parks, and comprehensive landscaping, ensuring a seamless experience for visitors.
