Our planned roofer cancelled quite last minute so we are back looking for a roofer to sort out the courtyard at the back of our restaurant in Brockley. If you are or know one who can work with Corrapol specifically please do get in touch. Required ASAP Please RT for visibility
In 2019 we started our little side hustle of Break The Fast London in our little kitchen in Penge and nearly 7 years later we have a whole restaurant. Today the Mayor of Lewisham popped in for breakfast. God will really surprise you in this life man.
This past weekend we opened the doors of our new restaurant in Brockley, to our regular customers from our journey so far. The support we have experienced has been so humbling, I canโt even find the words. Every call starts with โcongratulations guys, so proud of youโ ๐ฅน๐ฅน๐ฅน
The way I devoured that ackee and saltfish. ๐ญ๐ซ
Long live @breakthefastldn may your kitchen never run out of sauce, may your chefs continue to prosper.
One of the best brunch spots in London๐๐ฟ๐
Well done and congratulations @Sindi_Berry and team.๐๐ฟ

๐ Help Tinashe Get Back on His Feet ๐
Tinashe Gune (born 18 November 2004) is a young student pursuing a BTech in Civil Engineering in South Africa. After completing high school in 2022 and taking a gap year in 2023, he enrolled at university in 2024. Sadly, Tinashe fell seriously ill and was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. Since February 2024, he has been undergoing dialysis three times a week while waiting for a kidney transplant.
Thanks to the generosity of many, the family has come a long way, but now theyโve reached a critical turning point:
- A suitable donor has been found
- Fortis Hospital in Gurgaon, India, is ready to perform the transplant, expected in December 2025 or early 2026
To move forward, they urgently need funds to cover:
- Travel for Tinashe, the donor, and one family member
- Accommodation and food for the three during a four-month stay (the donor will return home after about one month)
- The transplant procedure and all related medical care
- Post-operation monitoring and follow-up both in India and back home
The estimated cost from Fortis Hospital is USD $35,200 for medical treatment and accommodation, plus USD $7,200 for travel, food, and incidentals, totaling USD $42,400. After previous fundraising, the family still needs USD $25,000, plus a $5,000 contingency, bringing the fundraising target to USD $30,000.
Every donation, share, and prayer will bring Tinashe closer to regaining his health and continuing his journey toward a bright future. No contribution is too small.
Please consider supporting or sharing this urgent appeal. ๐โค๏ธ
