you can usually tell when a brand is trying to be like another brand.
not because they've copied the look or done anything that obvious.
it's in the way they talk.
the things they post.
the references they make.
the personality they try to project.
sometimes, you can trace it all back to one account they really like.
which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
most of us learn by looking at people who are already doing what we want to do.
the problem starts when you never move past that.
you find someone whose content is working, then start borrowing their tone, formats, and even the way they think about their niche. eventually, your own voice gets buried under all that inspiration.
projects do this too.
i see projects with completely different products, teams, and audiences somehow ending up sounding the same.
same positioning.
same promises.
same words to describe why they're “building the future.”
and that's when you start wondering:
what actually makes this one different?
because what worked for someone else might not make sense for your brand.
their humour came from their personality.
their opinions came from their experiences.
their way of communicating came from how they naturally think.
you can borrow the structure, but you can't borrow what made it theirs in the first place.
that's where a lot of brands get stuck.
they spend so much time trying to sound good that they don't spend enough time figuring out what they actually want to say.
what do you want people to remember about you?
what do you have an opinion on?
what are you trying to help people understand?
what would you still talk about if nobody told you it was trending?
once you know those things, your content becomes much easier to make.
you're not constantly looking outside yourself for what to say.
you have something of your own to say.
you have to figure out what actually looks like you, then stick to it.
@Grandeur_X_ I see this often with project forking polymarket back then…
Most of them did died off because they couldn’t evolve past that stage.
It was even bastardized during the World Cup then….every dick, tom and harry wants to be polymarket.
@Grandeur_X_ Like it took me a reasonable amount of time to get what they were actually driving.
Thank God I read the doc and go back to their page to dot my Ts and Is,
I would have cried if I had deployed my funds and later found out an article already contradicted their official doc.
I still don’t understand why some project makes it difficult for people to understand them.
Might be intentional but it pisses me off.
Your docs says A will be happening, your post/article is saying B is what will be happening.
Which one is which, let us know so we can make informed decision/opinion.
My Spenda said Anything goes so I made "A Day In The Life" video talking about my favourite Spenda 2.0 features for their N15M Creators Challenge.
Need you to help me push this guys.
I pray I win ❤️

The room for playing ignorant about your own incentive design is closing fast. Most teams aren't treating it like it is.
I've dabbled around in this space quite a few times, researched protocols more than I even post. Weird right?
But one thing keeps standing out, protocols incentive design is mostly backwards.
I've always held the simple view: you incentivize the behavior you want recurring.
Most protocols don't actually do this, then turn around and complain about extractors, sybil farmers, whoever else showed up to take exactly what the system offered them.
Once agents can fully interact with protocols onchain, there's no more room for that excuse at all. It's one thing to miss it with humans. Agents don't miss what you left open.
My work across governance, token design, and agentic economics keeps leading back to the same root.
Protocol incentives are the underlying problem most of these teams are actually facing, whatever they think the symptom is.
They're not fighting bad actors. They're just meeting the actors their own design invited in.
@Grind2FreeU This here is the ultimate goal everyone on earth should be chasing lol.
It’s just so crazy, that sometimes even the next few hours you’re scared.
We shall breakeven insha’Allah
@z0r0zzz Big ups man.
This is cool, for real.
I will definitely use this as someone who has always been clamoring for privacy even though there’s little to no incentive to build privacy features on blockchain..builders like you deserves the accolades.
@leonardnftpage That’s the only way to breakeven.
My grind and a one million dollar dream.
I will surely get there eventually, might take time and sweat but I will.
