AI can write, review and debug code, but it doesn't replace the developer. The developer still has to define the problem, design the architecture, choose the right technologies and trade-offs, understand the business requirements, validate AI-generated code, handle security and performance, integrate systems, test edge cases, deploy, monitor and maintain the software.
