PM @narendramodi was absolutely right on Sam Pitroda — that he would be back in Congress after Election 2024.

Nehru Dynasty confidant and Rahul Gandhi’s mentor @sampitroda ‘resigned’ halfway through Election Campaign 2024 after public outrage over his odious racist comment on Indians that “people in the East look like Chinese, people in the West look like Arabs, people in the North look maybe White, and people in the South look like Africans”.

@Jairam_Ramesh had said, “The analogies drawn by Sam Pitroda … are most unfortunate and unacceptable. Congress completely dissociates itself from these analogies.”

Sam Pitroda ‘resigned’ from his post as Chairman of Indian Overseas Congress and his ‘resignation’ was promptly ‘accepted’.

Elections over, he has been brought back to the party and his Overseas Congress position has been restored. Clearly Congress stands by every word he said and ‘sacking’ him was hogwash.

Why is the Lord Ram idol black in colour?

The black stone is from Nellikaru rocks,
referred as ‘"Krishna Shila" due to their identical colour as that of Lord Krishna. It was extracted from Mysuru, Karnataka.

This stone was chosen because it does not react to anything like acid. This means that when milk is poured on the idol, the stone will not react or corrode over time.

Most of the idols of Gods and Goddesses in temples across South India have been carved from Nellikaru rocks.

As an Electronics engineer from a decent college, I can tell you from my experience that the reality of education is worse. From second yr onwards 75% of my batch didn't study any electronics subject properly, everyone just mugged up theory and passed the exams. It was all joke !
