I understand the right to know who is arresting you, but what if the person has no uniform, no name tag and no badge? At what point does resisting become a defence against someone who could simply be impersonating an officer? 🤔

What if he’s not in uniform, has no name tag or badge, but has a gun and says he’s arresting me? If I resist because he refuses to identify himself and things turn physical, what does the law expect me to do if his firearm ends up in my hands during the struggle? I am allowed to use it!??
