On John Collins, I don’t hate it not in LOVE with it but I’m good with it!

Collins before this past year has been a + rebounder multiple times and has contributed to possession battle (top percentile offensive rebounder in 7 seasons)

His 3Pr has jumped these last 4 years, and he’s shot 39% on threes. My hope is that he’s willing to keep adapting and raise his volume from 3 for this team.

Wouldn’t call him a great defender, but he’s been capable of being an average/passable defender with some traits you can work with.

Very efficient, he does not miss at the rim, good FT shooter, he’s been a very good play finisher his whole career (cuts, rolls, etc.)

My biggest concern is can the Pistons get his 3pt volume up, and can JB get the most out of him defensively (yes he can, honestly not as worried about that).

And contract is good 17 million, movable, not super long deal.

The only question that really matters is “Can he play meaningful football and help the team win?”

If the answer is yes, then you should want him here under a prove-it deal.
