Someone claimed worlds 1st, posted the boss, posted the cutscene and said that a guide is incoming.
Due to that, me & Freck got into the game & did the Easter egg...

Should we have waited for the cheated run to be uploaded 1st?
Were we supposed to ask someone's permission?
The hunt was over, that team finished it and showed everything there is to show.

Everyone was already outraged, we just hopped on and showed everyone what to do before they did, and that's what were getting dragged for?
I'm getting 1 million messages about how me & freck ruined the hunt?
How was it us & not the team that literally cheated it LMAO?

I also see a lot of people upset that I sounded the alarm about the directed scripts.
I think you're just shooting the messenger.
My original tweet had no details, just mentioning that a major fuck up happened. This caught the attention of a dev who reached out and I told them everything I knew.

A few hours passed & I see it, I see teams attempting (in the wrong places) EXACTLY what the strings say. I see people in zombie discords discussing the strings, it was out there & those who wanted to find it could've and likely did. So I warned everyone with the 2nd tweet.
If I don't make that 2nd tweet, you would all accuse me of gatekeeping & keeping it secret from everyone else or even better, I just look like someone crying because "someone else got world's 1st! They have to be cheating!" (lose, lose)

So really, what you all wanted me to do was just be silent about it & let everyone read these files & silently cheat in the background like has happened many times over the years in the community, but if I go public about it and tell everyone, you all switch up on me LMAO.

Regardless of the whole mess, I am proud to say I’ve never been more grateful to be part of the zombies community and witness this EE hunt. I wasn’t involved in BO3 days as i was too young so i didnt get to be part of hunts back then.

And most importantly I am proud as fuck of @Treyarch for this map. You guys should all be proud.

We were barely halfway done with the easter egg before the "Noble" was "solved."

We spent 48 hours trying to find a singular step but apparently it took an hour to solve the next half of the entire easter egg? 😂

yup, I've heard lots of stuff regarding specific streamers knowing steps and I guess if you watch back certain streams you will see people throwing decoys all around the map... What I can say and what I am proud of is that I had a clean hunt... It will be interesting to see over time when people do pick through previous teams streams to see who will be caught out :)

The Kowakujo Easter Egg Hunt regardless of how ended and how many people had access to the code/steps/cheated doesn't change one huge aspect... let's not let negativity over shadows something so special that has happened over the past 3 days!... In a time of uncertainty in regards to our community's future going forward with no sign of Zombies content for the next 2 years+ except from our final BO7 DLC WE ALL came together... WE made it feel like the Easter Egg Hunts of Old... The past 3 days have felt special! Our community was ALIVE and Treyarch made that happen!
I thank Treyarch and more importantly YOU!... The Viewer, The Gamer, The EE Hunter who made this as special as it was💙
