In his commencement address Sunday at Stanford University, Sundar Pichai acknowledged that today’s young professionals are facing a lot of challenges including global conflicts, economic anxiety and a rewiring of technology.
But he argued that every generation has faced their own share of hardship and what matters most is how you respond to it. https://t.co/NDQauUbDbs
An economy like ours needs people who build and produce real things. We need men and women farming at scale, working in industries, constructing roads, buildings and cities, digging mines, manufacturing products and creating wealth. It’s shocking to see that when young people dream of work they dream of getting an office job so they can become a “corporate hun” or “corporate baddie” and post about it on social media. An economy cannot grow on titles, emails and status updates. It grows when people produce, manufacture, build and innovate. We need more people getting their hands dirty creating value and fewer people obsessed with looking important while contributing little to the productive side of the economy!
Your entire life changes when you realize 99% of society is stupid and you can just do things and no one will stop you because they’re too lazy or distracted to even try.
