⚡️Summary of "Suіcіdеs in the Russian Army" analysis [01.01 - 29.07 | 2026]
It’s been a while since we last did this, so we’ve decided to take a brief look at the first half of 2026.
So, over the course of these 210 days, 54 Russian invaders chose to take their own lives [1 suicide every 4 days]
AK - 38
Grenade - 14
Knife - 1
FPV - 1
To be honest, I’ve lost count – it’s terrifying just how many suicides have been recorded in total over the years, but we’re getting close to 500.
Putin Has No Intention of Ending the War Despite Russia's Economic Strains
Russian President Vladimir Putin has no intention of ending the war against Ukraine despite mounting economic difficulties inside Russia, Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council said.
According to the CCD, Putin made clear during an address to Russia's State Duma that military spending and financing the defense industry will remain the Russian government's top budget priority over the next three years.
The agency said the Kremlin plans to offset a record budget deficit by reducing civilian spending and increasing the financial burden on the Russian population.
Petraeus: The death zone in Ukraine extends 35 kilometers on either side of the front lines — defined by drone battery life. Tanks can't survive. Armored vehicles can't survive. Nothing can.
Neither side even drives vehicles anymore. Russians keep trying and keep proving it.
Petraeus: No trenches — drones fly through. Soldiers in survivability positions hundreds of meters apart, not mutually supporting. Resupplied by ground robots.
Commanders can't visit the front line. Soldiers stay 60+ days. In urban areas, some couldn't be extracted for months.
Petraeus: Russian advances mean individual soldiers running forward trying to dig in. Drone units pick them up immediately, cycle surveillance drones, then FPV attack drones arrive.
You see them hitting around the soldier in the woods until one connects. It doesn't end well.
Petraeus: Ukraine is about to isolate Crimea. Gasoline so short they won't sell it to civilians. Tourists who came for beaches are trying to get home any way they can.
Kerch Bridge rail no longer works. Ferries knocked out. Land bridges destroyed. Pontoon bridges now targeted.
Petraeus: Ukraine took down Russia's air defenses steadily. Russia pulls them to Moscow — vulnerabilities open everywhere else. Moscow refinery hit three nights running, out at least six months.
They're going after fuel storage, refineries, gas lines from Siberia to the west.
Petraeus: Real prospect now that Putin might need a cessation of hostilities himself. Oil sanctions reimposed, national welfare fund running out of money.
Crimea isolated, front lines cut off, economy crushed — all of this could force Putin to recognize he should end this war.

She was celebrating her 9th birthday. russia killed her instead.
Vika Srebniuk was only 9 years old.
She had gone to the store in Chernihiv with her mother to celebrate her birthday.
A russian drone struck the store.
Vika was killed.
Her mother is fighting for her life in the hospital with severe burns. Her father is a war veteran.
This is the reality Ukrainians have been living with for years.
Never forget what russia does.
Remember: The execution of Ukrainian POWs is not the work of a few rogue soldiers. It is a systematic russian war crime. Hundreds of executions have already been documented.
Remember: Every victim deserves justice. The world owes them that.
"Russia will hold all of Donbas by year's end."
That was John Mearsheimer, yesterday.
Before that he said russia would take Kharkiv. Wrong.
He said Kyiv would fall. Wrong.
He said Ukraine would collapse politically. Wrong.
He said the Ukrainian army would run out of soldiers. Wrong.
Four years. Same prediction. Same wrong answer.
And yet Mearsheimer, Sachs, and Chomsky continue to dominate Western discussion of russia's war – producing what may be the best material for russian propaganda in the English language.
How do educated, credentialed, articulate people believe and repeat claims that do not survive contact with basic evidence?
And why do their audiences continue to believe them?
I wrote about why the modern information environment now rewards being confidently wrong over being quietly right – and why we need to start holding specific commentators accountable when their specific predictions fail.
Mark the date.
- Mykhailo Fedorov 🇺🇦:
“Russia does not have enough forces to continue offensive operations. The Ukrainian army is exhausting the Russians.
Claims that Russia holds the advantage on the battlefield are a myth. We are becoming increasingly effective, and the cost of the war for Russia continues to rise.”

This nation is strong and determined..

Here’s a poll / Pole worth ignoring..
“🇵🇱🇺🇦 The vast majority of Poles believe that only Russia will win in disputes with Ukraine, - RMF24 poll
80% of respondents believe that Russia will win in Polish-Ukrainian dispute, and 73% are convinced that Polish and Ukrainian politicians themselves are fueling the conflict for their own political gain.
At the same time, 75% of those surveyed emphasize that Poland and Ukraine should first of all cooperate in the face of the threat from Russia, and not focus on differences, and 52% believe that both countries have more common goals than contradictions.”
You’d think history would have taught these Poles a lesson on what appeasing an aggressor results in? There again from a statistics lens, this “poll” timing and content raises suspicions.
Lies, damned lies and statistics?
Russian actor Alexey Yarmushchik published a video criticizing Putin, stating that he no longer wants to remain silent.
According to the 25-year-old Yarmushchik, he does not know a single peer of his who loves and respects Putin — they only fear him.
“I do not want you to be my president. Never in my life. […] I do not want to watch your television. […] I want to listen to my songs. I do not want to use VK. I want to use Instagram. […] I do not believe that Crimea is ours. […] All my acquaintances are leaving. I do not know where these people are who love you as president and respect you. You are not my president.”
Russia's war is now just this, the murder of peaceful civilians.
Remember this when the World Bank, IMF, EU and US Governments are pouring billions into saving Russia.
@LeChattyChat@StupidMonkey__@MyLordBebo ok sorry I will be kind, just got so excited because was long time since I actual meet a real "believer". Most pro-russians today belong to bot farms or are paid propagandists.
@LeChattyChat@StupidMonkey__@MyLordBebo Ofc. because you are a victim of brainwashing. How does it feel that Laura Loomer is smarter than you?
Wouldn't the war crime be that Russia occupied ZNPP in first place?
So mobilization is a war crime also? Remember that because Russia going to mobilize another half a million 😅
@LeChattyChat@StupidMonkey__@MyLordBebo You going to run away again and hide under bed from Reality by blocking me because of cognitive dissonance? 😂 go ahead
@LeChattyChat@StupidMonkey__@MyLordBebo You haven't provided any evidence, only disinfo.
Yes, there might be single isolated cases of misthreatment of prisoners.
However Russians have structurally torture. Castration, beheading, rape etc. of prisoners.
Haven't seen Ukraine comitt any of that like Russia posted.

@LeChattyChat@StupidMonkey__@MyLordBebo The document borrows OSCE letterhead it wasn't given, comes from an actor with a track record of manufacturing exculpatory findings for the Russian state, and uses uncorroborated partisan interviews — that structurally cannot establish its central claim of systematic. NO EVIDENCE
@LeChattyChat@StupidMonkey__@MyLordBebo Who are the dummy?😂You link a Russian propaganda (Grigoriev spread disinformation about Syrian chemical attack also), that is a paper submitted at an OSCE forum, NOT a report. Anyone can post papers there like Russia did to give it "credability".
