New episode of the Devlog is up and this time we're talking difficulty as well as how we go about processing player feedback. It's a potentially contentious topic, but I don't think I say anything too out there.
@DaveOshry It's slowly becoming more popular, but when I was a kid it was not a thing. Some boomers are really annoyed by it gaining traction and do shit like this.

We need to be ok with players getting lost again so that we can risk making levels that actually encourage you to explore and not just go from point to point.

I think the reason why scores frequently piss people off is because deep in our hearts we know grading art like that is crook... Even if it is framed as a pro-consumer advice.
