The real problem was @Raiders ownership not Josh McDaniels. Marc Davis wanted a Patriots-style operation, but ultimately cowered and deferred to players who weren’t willing to put in the work required to build it.
Yall throw around “pick me” and “male centered” when you won’t agree to their ridiculous takes man. A woman wanting to enjoy the company of her significant other in her OWN home isn’t male centered for that. WTF 😂😂😂😂
#Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes says the #Raiders pairing Fernando Mendoza with Kirk Cousins has similarities to him and Alex Smith:
“It's going to do a lot of great things for him. Kirk is a true pro. ... I'll be great for Fernando to learn and just take in. It went really well for me and Alex, hopefully maybe not that much (for Fernanzo) unless I'm gone.” 😅
Black men are constantly expected to understand everybody else’s pain while nobody makes room for theirs. They are expected to be patient with everyone else’s trauma, everyone else’s moods, everyone else’s healing journey but when they have wounds of their own, they’re too “hard to love”…
A lot of Black Women want the ability to abuse and mistreat a Black Man without having to account for their behavior. This isn’t about Black Men being difficult this is about the ego of a lot of Black Women the matriarchy has afford us to have.
Alot of women only recognize a Black man’s feelings when they become anger. Y’all ignore the exhaustion, the disappointment, the loneliness, the rejection, and the fear until it finally comes out as frustration. Then you point to the frustration as proof that he is dangerous or impossible to love.
The #Raiders defense currently ranks first in takeaways (9), first in forced fumbles (10), tied for fourth in sacks (10), 10th in points allowed (54) and seventh in passer rating allowed (82.2).
Black men are expected to be providers, protectors, emotionally bulletproof, sexually confident, financially successful, physically strong, & mentally unbothered.
& the minute one of them admits he’s tired, hurt, insecure, lonely, or simply wants to be loved without having to perform some version of masculinity first, suddenly it’s “black men are hard to love”.
@the_ceo99 Romance didn’t die. The one-way version did.
Guys got tired of planning the whole thing for a maybe.
They still show up where the effort actually comes back.
LEGENDARY: The 1976 Oakland #Raiders were one of the most dominant and feared teams in #NFL history.
“The Raiders are dirty? Yeah, yeah —we’re dirty. What are you going to do about it?”
13-1 record. Won Super Bowl XI.
John Madden’s squad was RUTHLESS 🐐
