i’ll repeat my old pinned message from feb 2025: i have no interest in becoming a kol. i will never shill a coin. if people find my wallet, me buying is not an endorsement of the coin; if i ever deployed any random memes, they are not endorsements either.

when i went from sub 500 followers to 10k followers in one day, i was invited into numerous groups, gaining access to information on ctos and coins. i was bullish on all the coins that were brought up and went along with some of the cto plans, agreeing to what people told me to do, like hinting towards one of the ctos on the tl. i never want to even hint at a memecoin again. i don’t want to provide any financial advice or opinion in any way, shape, or form on a specific asset. i want to focus more on my opinions on the broader landscape.

for the record, to the groups that accused me of gatekeeping information, i didn’t even get into the coin early. i bought around the 750k - 1m range and shared it right away. i didn’t want to make a profit off this coin, so i donated all my profits to charity. the coin still did really well for a dead market, but i’m not writing this because of how the coin performed. i’m writing this to explain that i don’t want to be involved in any coin push ever.

the whole experience reminded me to stay true to my roots, keep my head down, and trust my own on-chain analysis. at the end of the day, my goal in life is to give back and be kind, and my thesis of making money in this space is to use it to build and give back in the near future.

For the first time in my life, the killing in Gaza changed my entire worldview. The industry I was part of began calling for the extermination of my brothers and sisters while hospitals were bombed, journalists were killed, and children were blown up day after day.

And this was the popular opinion for a very long time after October 7th. That the retaliation should be extermination. I was in shock and at first I was afraid to speak up because I felt I had something to lose.

That feeling killed me and I did what I could silently donating until I found a charity I could actually trust. I did not want to be a coward any longer. I wanted to set up a crowdfunder so others could help and so I could speak openly about the cause. I flew to Jordan with the team and saw the work myself.

In March 2024 I announced it by posting wallet addresses people could donate to. I never expected it to grow this large, but I knew every dollar helped. It was purposeful: Putting my entire reputation behind it and providing clear evidence of distributions.

To date, we've raised $2,129,857 across 977 unique donors with a high average of $1,394. We've distributed millions of litres of water, thousands of hot meals, hundreds of food parcels, sponsored hundreds of orphans, medical suppliers and more.

Set up medical clinics, makeshift schools, property waqf, trained mothers to generate food for themselves and have multiple bigger projects in the works.

And we still have money to distribute.

Crypto is where I came from and where I made my money. Beyond the money culture, the core ethos of crypto is owning your money and using it as you choose. Our largest anonymous donor has given over $500K. Try doing that through a bank while telling them you are donating to Gaza last year. They would deny it, likely shut you down, and report you. Setting up a pipeline for people to donate in Crypto unlocked the ability for people who want to donate but can't to help.

Many people think it is over now. They believe the ceasefire means the killing has stopped. That is not the reality. Even if it were, trauma on that scale does not heal quickly. I have spoken to people who have seen their entire family line killed in the past two years. Imagine losing your parents, siblings, cousins, everyone.

Tonight, we reached an agreement with the Department of War to deploy our models in their classified network.

In all of our interactions, the DoW displayed a deep respect for safety and a desire to partner to achieve the best possible outcome.

AI safety and wide distribution of benefits are the core of our mission. Two of our most important safety principles are prohibitions on domestic mass surveillance and human responsibility for the use of force, including for autonomous weapon systems. The DoW agrees with these principles, reflects them in law and policy, and we put them into our agreement.

We also will build technical safeguards to ensure our models behave as they should, which the DoW also wanted. We will deploy FDEs to help with our models and to ensure their safety, we will deploy on cloud networks only.

We are asking the DoW to offer these same terms to all AI companies, which in our opinion we think everyone should be willing to accept. We have expressed our strong desire to see things de-escalate away from legal and governmental actions and towards reasonable agreements.

We remain committed to serve all of humanity as best we can. The world is a complicated, messy, and sometimes dangerous place.

programming always sucked. it was a requisite pain for ~everyone who wanted to manipulate computers into doing useful things and im glad it’s over. it’s amazing how quickly I’ve moved on and don’t miss even slightly. im resentful that computers didn’t always work this way
