Let's clear a few things: I'm a very nice & respectful guy. The way I respond depends on how you come at me. If you are respectful, you get respect, condescending and that's what you'll get. Sarcastic and you get sarcasm back. If you come with insults, I'll BLOCK you. Be warned!
Julius Malema once went to parliament and called Jacob Zuma (the sitting president at the time) "Dunderhead", right in his face.
He made a host of false accusations against him including the marquee accusation of Zuma having a million dollar mansion in Dubai as a neighbour to the Guptas.
No one ever dragged him to court.
@bongz4sure@LCabonena Nope. Traore used a coup d'etat to ascend the presidency of Burkina Faso, and he's doing well. And that is because he has a desire to make life better for the Burkinabe. Zungula seems to have a heart to make things better for South Africans. That's a good start.
@leshego94326@Knick_RSA Nothing to do with Mashatile. It's all about accountability. Ramaphosa must account for his misdeeds. Nobody's above the law. Him included.
"They called us xenophobic, vigilantes, unskilled, barbaric, uneducated, hateful."
For months, we have been fighting for one thing: illegal foreigners must leave South Africa.
We got insults.
From politicians. From journalists. From "intellectuals." From celebrities. From people who have never spent a night in a township, never worried about their next meal, never watched their child dodge drugs on a street corner.
They called us:
Xenophobic
Vigilantes
Unskilled men
Uneducated
Barbaric
Hateful
Anti-African
Tribalistic
But here's what they refused to see: we are South Africans who are tired.
Threatened us with soldiers. Called us vigilantes. Intimidated peaceful protesters while criminals ran free. A mouthpiece for a failed government.
Always lecturing us about "human dignity" while our own dignity is trampled. Works for the UN, not for South Africans.
THE "INTELLECTUALS" WHO LOOK DOWN ON US
Thinks a PhD makes them better than the unemployed South African who sees the truth with their own eyes. They are not superior. You are disconnected.
THE MEDIA TALKING HEADS
eNCA, SABC, Newzroom Afrika β gave airtime to lies. Called us vigilantes. Defended criminals. You are not journalists. You are propagandists.
AND TO ALL THE "PROCLAIMED INTELLECTUALS"
You with your degrees. Your big words. Your foreign funding.
You think because you can speak in paragraphs, you are better than us.
You are not.
We may not have PhDs. We may not write opinion pieces for the Mail & Guardian. But we see what you refuse to see.
We live in the communities you only visit for photo ops. We bury our children while you tweet. We struggle to find jobs while you hire foreigners.
Your education has not made you wise. It has made you arrogant, and useless.
Mcebo Dlamini was right: "This democracy and this education have produced a lot of stupid intelligence."
You are the stupid intellectuals. Frauds masquerading as leaders.
We want illegal foreigners gone. We want our country back. And we will keep marching until that happens.
Call us whatever you want. We know who we are.
South Africans. First. Last. Always.
I will never regret supporting March and March as a Tsonga Person. Actually not supporting the ideology of March and March means defying a country duty which instil inferiority complex amongst our people. A true Tsonga will defend Jacinta against the tribalism propaganda.
