@Golden_Gal50 It shouldn't be considered a bad thing to get bigger meaning out of "just a game", especially when you are physically incapable of actually getting up and doing anything else.

It isn't possible to "just pull yourself up by your bootstraps" when you're literally fighting to live.

@Golden_Gal50 Its an ongoing battle, and video games help by being a lighthouse to help weather the storm of sickness.

Imagine being bedridden in a hospital, hooked up to machines, your own body trying to kill you. But you play this little game & it lets you escape, even if just for a moment

@Golden_Gal50 I wouldn't say I'm living in the past. This continue to occur on a daily basis. It is more pain than I thought I'd ever deal with.
I didn't get a choice in whether or not it became a huge part of my life. I can't just decide to be healthy.

@Golden_Gal50 You should try playing something simple and fun, maybe it'll help you see how you can get connected and find enjoyment. A little happiness to add to your life when you're having an off day like today sounds.

@MTaSandrock As someone who is also a ginger irl & deals with a LOT of physical & mental health issues, being able to save her was indescribably impactful.

It felt like I was finally able to save myself, in a way.
My body is failing, but she's always given me hope for the future regardless.

@MTaSandrock Originally, I really liked Arlo. He had a lot more complexity than I ever thought.

But when I got closer to Ginger way later and things happened there, I immediately restarted my game, throwing away HOURS to help change her fate. Fell in love so quickly and never regretted it.

The Sims 4 needs better options for us non-binary people that don't want to set their gender to male or female. There's no in-between. It just makes me sad every time I see it. I need a they/them option.

My kiddo absolutely loves watching #TheSims4 build videos, but everytime he hears @simlicy's intro or voice, he always comes back to watch on the TV and gets so focused.

Today he said bye and waved at the end of the video, and I almost cried, it was so wholesome.
