So funny, fan ran into Wonpil and Sungjin (+ manager noonim) at Uniqlo in Kobe: fan was shopping when her friend told her apparently the two of them + manager were there and at the cashier but at first fan couldn’t spot them so she gave up and was paying for her own things (self checkout). Then she noticed someone next to her keep putting a piece of clothing down and picking it back up, repeatedly saying, “How do I do this?” So she figuredshe should help and said, “If you just put the clothing in there, it’ll check out automatically.” He replied, “Thank you”, so she returned to her screen. But she noticed someone glancing at my bag frm the corner of her eye (her bag had a tanned Pilkki keychain attached. So she turned to look and it was Kim Wonpil! She was so shocked her eyes were darting here and there but he smiled and said, “Thank you.”

Sungjin was stuck on the “Do you need a shopping bag?” screen, so she also helped out and asked if he needed one. He replied no but noticed she had a Gyeongsang-do accent (she is from there). She helped him press “no shopping bag” and finished paying for her own items. While Wonpil was checking out, I heard Sungjin ask him, “Do you need a shopping bag?”
