@cowden_dalton84 @AnaheimDucks The extension doesn’t change the money on the original contract though. If he signs 4 yrs cheap, he’s cheap for all 4 yrs. An ext in yr 3 only pays him more after those 4 yrs pass. That’s exactly why a 1–2 yr bridge makes more sense if they can’t agree on long-term value now.

@cowden_dalton84 @AnaheimDucks again, well aware. they still need to figure it out and make space for him or let him walk. he either needs to sign something on a 1-2 year deal that we can make it fit or they figure out a long term deal. he can’t sign something for 4 years and then on year 2 days “give me more”

@cowden_dalton84 @AnaheimDucks well aware they need to sign him and clear space. another forward doesn’t fill a hole or open the space we need unless one of the vets is out. even with terry starting on ltir, they need to get their shit together before camp or he’ll be like the other young guys who missed camp.

After 4 months they finally let me cancel an order where it was excuse after excuse that it would ship soon. some folks still haven’t received their jerseys to this day
