@MarthaQuinn I was programming a CHR (Top 40) FM in a top 50 metro in those days. You better believe that MTV had an MAJOR impact on the music listeners requested, and the artists who filled arenas. The VJs were so important to the vibe, just like radio!

@CatieOsaurus My local library offers Libby, Hoopla, and Kanopy and they are fantastic. For years they also offered free music downloads from Freegal, but have canceled with them. Are there any libraries with open library card applications that still offer Freegal Music downloads?
