🧵I love how this show handles the existential theme of eternity, contrasting the eternity of demons with that of humanity. It emphasizes that permanence should not be sought in the flesh but in metaphysical concepts. #DemonSlayer#鬼滅の刃
@indictividous@VishalSid_1 KNY arguably has the strongest thematic ending out of all of them. It emphasizes that immortality shouldn’t be sought through flesh, but through the impact you leave on the world and others, and how the length of your life doesn’t define how fulfilling your life was.
@SaaraAdam21 He has problem with self-image because of his survivor's guilt and self-worth issues. That's why Muzan, in the scene at the end of the story, was acting as his conscience. It was a final test for Tanjiro to move past his trauma. (2/2)
Looking for animators for a Demon Slayer animation
It’s a non canon concept about Yoriichi fighting all of the Upper Moons.
Sharing a few WIP cuts below to show the level we’re aiming for.

@CredoQuiaAbsur@fleaval@futonchill Johan isn’t “evil just for the sake of being evil”... The Red Rose Mansion experiments and the childhood trauma they caused shaped who he became.
Kaigaku and Douma were literally in the movie. How do those people even function in the real world when they can't even comprehend the most basic things?
I watched Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle in the theatre and realized that every single villain has the same kind of sob story. Is there any anime villain who is just evil without a reason? Why does every antagonist need to have a tragic backstory?
@Plankton616 @RottenTomatoes No... People empathize with his grief, the mistakes he made that hurt those around him, and his inability to live with his actions to the point where he wanted to die.
But I guess that kind of nuance is lost if you’re looking at it on a surface level...
@Twisterzz296199@puchipuchi45678@ShinDarkBoy@NINtendo_maya The entire power system and central themes in Demon Slayer are inspired by Buddhism. DS has a much stronger Buddhist undertone in its narrative than JJK: https://t.co/9kkPDmGOLN
That's why the Selfless State is portrayed as a moment of enlightenment because it is a state of mind not body. That's also why Yoriichi, the person that is the founder of Breathing is depicted as Bodhisattwa(Jizo). Just as Bodhisattwa, he guides others towards enlightenment-

There are so many videos like this on YouTube. You click on something thinking it’s an analysis, but it turns out to be just a story summary.
I’ve noticed that anime channels are the bigger offenders of this, compared to live-action media.
Was watching this video of his a while ago and i turned it off once i realized its just a wikipedia summary or the plot instead of any actual analysis I was so disappointed
