Never agreed with the hate against the Welcome to Raccoon City cast. Avan Jogia was a great pick but the writing was terrible. Jill was also great. When you're adapting a game franchise where all the main characters are white you can shake it up a little!!

@McJunegrand I think there's many ways you could go in the Resident Evil universe and I will give this movie a shot. Who knows? Maybe it'll be like RE7 and be a truly brilliant new vision that ties back to Umbrella at the end. I'm just worried it'll feel like the Netflix show 😭

I don't understand why people get so mad on here if you want a Resident Evil movie that has content from the games. The lore of Resident Evil is very interesting and if we had a new movie I'd prefer it embrace it rather than rewrite it. I'll see it, but my expectations are low.

I enjoyed Welcome to Raccoon City because I got to see the RPD, Orphanage and Spencer Mansion in a movie theater. Even though it's a god awful movie, that was the positive I walked away with.
