@sanmaiitai The cost for solar should and will hopefully be like a one time fee, but knowing the how we like to run things, you’d probably have alot more Tolls or have to buy a special pass in order to drive on the road totally uninhibited by natural resources.
@sanmaiitai Only issue is the Input of Energy Vs Output, more than likely the car would be one big battery, and with that you’d need a lot of conversion of energy and that takes time, possibly a couple of days out in the ☀️. And depending on where you live it could be nonstop or nonexistent.
@sanmaiitai exactly the issue, depends on the methods we would have to use to hold the energy, with a hydrogen cell you’d most likely have to use a special type of water with a lot of ions(salts), still should be a hell of a lot cheaper than gas tho. Solar energy would be interesting
@sanmaiitai a few people have made hydrogen fuel cells that can run completely off of water and solar paneling has been attempted too. The claim is that it’s too hard to mass produce such a free Roaming vehicle because it would cause mass instability to the foundation of energy 1/
