6 months at @Nectar_finance
Working at an early-stage startup means wearing many hats, and every challenge has helped me become a better product designer.
Six months ago, I joined NectarFi with one goal - to build experiences that people would genuinely enjoy using.
Since then, I've had the opportunity to redesign core product experiences, from building a scalable design system to refreshing the brand identity, crafting unique illustrations, designing new features, and collaborating closely with developers.
Looking back, I'm proud of how far we've come—but I'm even more excited about what's next.
I absolutely love the NectarFi Team. Everyone is proactive and always ready to get things done quickly.
And this is just the beginning, let's do more!
I started work on picture in picture mode You can now:
• Resize the overlay
• Drag it anywhere on the canvas
• Rotate and scale it
• Layer videos, images, or screen recordings
• Animate it with keyframes. - built with Claude code

The story behind the "Leave Assessment" illustration.
While designing SkoolAI's assessment flow, we wanted students to stay focused once they started.
That's why I intentionally didn't add a "Cancel Assessment" button once the assessment started. Reducing unnecessary choices helps users stay committed to the task.
Instead, the back button became the exit.
That meant anyone tapping it wasn't just going back, they were choosing to leave the assessment.
Then came the illustration, my first idea was someone running away from something.😂
But i thought that was a bit dramatic. (now that i think about it sef, maybe it's not)
So I asked myself, what does leaving actually look like?
Someone opening a door? I loved it and i rolled with the idea because it was simple and familiar, it also communicates exactly what's about to happen without needing a long explanation.
Looking back at this illustration series, one thing stands out to me, none of them were designed just to make the interface look nice.
Each one existed to support a specific moment in the user's journey and make the product feel a little more human. That's a type of design I enjoy building.
If you're building a product and care about thoughtful experiences where every visual decision has a purpose, I'd love to be part of the journey.
My DMs are always open.

One of the biggest challenges I faced building one click SVG animations was messy layer names.
So I built a local naming tool that automatically detects and renames every imported SVG part with no internet required.
Whether the SVG comes from Freepik, another illustration library, or is vectorized from an image, it organizes the layers into meaningful names so they are ready for one click rigging and animation.
We built a collection of 500+ Nigerian bank logos so you never have to spend time searching for them again.

We didn’t forget engineers either. Feel free to check it out here 👇🏾👇🏾
I built a book. Not a PDF viewer. A real, skeuomorphic hardcover book that lives in the browser.
The idea started with a simple question: What if reading a digital book actually felt like reading a real one?
Since I've worked on book app designs before, I was curious to see how Claude would respond to one of those ideas that starts out sounding a little unrealistic.
At first, I only wanted to recreate the experience of opening a book and flipping through its pages.
Then one idea became another.
I added:
• Real page-flipping interactions with sound
• Text highlighting in multiple colors
• A voice reader
• Reading reminders that continue from where you left off
• Bookmarks to save important pages to share with friends later
Then I thought about one of the biggest frustrations with large books.
Flipping through hundreds of pages just to find page 287 isn't fun.
So I added a page entry feature. Type a page number, and the book automatically flips through the pages until it gets there, just like a real book in motion.
There are still more ideas I want to explore, but this was one of those projects where I kept building as the ideas came to mind.
Curiosity led me here, and I like where it is taking me!

Day 1 of building SVG character animations using a Blender-inspired skeleton rigging approach. The goal is to make it possible to apply walk, talk, eye movement, and other character animations to any SVG character with a single click using built-in presets. Still a long way to go, but it’s coming together. Built with Claude code
Building a realistic book with Claude and this is the progress so far. I’ll make it smoother and also work on the text that’s over flowing. I like where it is so far but def can be better!
Day 23/30 - Crypto Hero section
Micro-interactions I achieved:
→ mega menu that morphs between nav items → aurora glow drifting behind the dashboard → gradient outline orbiting the border (my best part actually) → cursor lights up the grid → 3D tilt that follows your mouse

I said I would, and I did 🔥. another exploration on FIGMA MOTION
Happy new month from the Khlaseek side 🚀🔥💜
I Love daring hard things, not like it's easy for me but because that's the path to an exceptional life.
I hope I did not go below your expectations 😂

H2 2026. Not everyone made it this far.
If you’re reading this, you still have time to build, learn, ship, and move closer to the life you want.
Talent alone isn’t enough. The people who win are often the ones who consistently put their work in front of the right people.
Keep improving your craft. Market it with intention.
The second half of the year starts today.
