I have been very vocal about how much I dislike the anti-tunneling & anti-slugging mechanics, I’m a killer main so no surprise there 🤷🏻‍♀️ but it’s honestly so much more than that

Dead by Daylight is not beginner friendly & this update just makes it so much worse

Imagine buying dbd & playing it for the first time because they added [insert here any popular license] & you want to play as your favorite character

“Okay so your objective is to kill the survivors”
“Not too fast! You will get punished!”
“Don’t stand too close to the hook, you will get punished”
“Don’t kick the same gen several times you will get punished”
“You hooked all 4 survivors & then killed one of them? Believe it or not, also getting punished”

All of these mechanics just feel like bandaids on top of bandaids on top of bandaids, not really fixing any problems & just making the game unnecessarily complicated in the process
