To say I am proud would be an understatement.
Tonight, the @iustvnews crew wrapped up our final newscast of the semester as everyone gets ready to enjoy a much-needed winter break.
In one semester alone we have produced 23 newscasts, totaling over 3-thousand total views. For perspective, we produced the same number of shows for the entire last academic year.
But, above all, this team has worked hard to not only deliver the news across campus and Bloomington, but solidify and build our @IUSTV brand to reach a growing audience.
Here's to another fantastic semester in Studio 7! One more to go until graduation in May 🫡
IU Student Television, along with the Indiana Daily Student and WIUX will begin the process of converging financial operations into one multiplatform organization while maintaining editorial and brand independence.

As news director for @iustvnews, it's been a big goal to increase how much content we make. After months of planning, we are finally doing just that.
Proud of this team for expanding to two newscasts a week, something we haven't done before.

I am grateful they find themselves in a good financial position and I sincerely hope that continues.
In an effort to provide clarity and address any confusion, IU Student Television Executive Director Emma Watson shares the following statement in regards to the upcoming walkout for the Indiana Daily Student:
To be clear, Indiana University Student Television (IUSTV) is not walking out nor staging any organizational protest against the university.
I did not consent to being included on this letter.
I am advocate for student media and have done my best to support it our way.
