@LimerickW36593@elisaodonovan Illogical from a procedural point is correct unless of course you did not bother to check the rules in the first place or thought you’d get away with not following them. I learned this at Blackhall Place “Ignorantia juris non excusat”. Put it another way - Rules Matter.
Several business owners in Limerick have now rallied around the mayor’s plan to create pedestrian-priority ‘superblocks’ in August, after more than 100 retailers voiced opposition to it.

I am a trader and wholeheartedly agree with the August plans & and the proposed events. The irony in it all is I believe it will benefit traders in the city @moranjohna1

Well done @LimerickCLG. We’re all so proud of the way you hung in there all the way to come out on top at the end. Tough luck Cork. You put up a great fight. There was so little in it. Thanks for Picture - INPHO/James Crombie
The Government keeps backtracking on the delivery of Bus Connects for Limerick-Shannon. If you are with me that Limerick needs better bus services now, help me make the case by signing a petition to demand Bus Connects now for Limerick-Shannon https://t.co/1YT39MF4hn
On 10/02/26, life changed for our friend and colleague Kevin Long. Now his family have organised this fundraiser to raise funds for Brú Columbanus so they can continue to support families like Kevin's family. Please, if you can, support at the link below:

If @SlatteryCllr voted to have meetings recorded, we would all see and hear the "comments" the Mayor is allegedly making against her. Instead she left the room for half an hour in the middle of a vote and have delayed the whole process further.
As the comment at Monday’s Limerick Council meeting to which Cllr Slattery took grave exception was an implication that she’s not been turning up to this very committee she’s on ex-officio, I can’t tell if resigning from it is a protest or a confession.🤷♂️

Apparently he "disrespected" her. I can't get my head around the use of "disrespect" as a verb. I just can't. Apparently it's been used as such since the 1600s but I always associate it with ...Big Brother ...TOWIE ...Makey-uppey Martial Arts. https://t.co/uzqBUTguld
🏥 In an important week for healthcare in Limerick, Mayor John Moran was pleased to be on hand for the official opening of the new Bon Secours facility this week.
🟢 The Mayor emphasised the importance of the enhancing healthcare in Limerick, as outlined in the mayoral programme
Hard agree. And this isn't me taking sideswe elect councillors to represent us in the council. Surely we should know exactly how they are representing us? It makes no sense for publicly elected officials to hide behind closed doors during these meetings.
They say never stop preparing for live interviews. Last question I expected @IrelandAMVMTV to hit me with to start was the euro millions overspend on O’Connell Street works. Good journalism in action. #scrutiny Just as well I had read the audit report too. https://t.co/YuaLjv5eRM
This is awful! The Cllrs who are derailing this should be ashamed. #Limerick made history with the country's first DEM & now we are seeing it sabotaged. Voters are being punished for not choosing FG/FF. What a disgrace!
