I just tried @reve and it is the best image model I ever used. It is the first image model I just like to look at images from. I generate it and I feel something when I see them. Like with real pro photography. It’s crazy

The cool thing is that the AI has a Google tool and an OpenFoodFacts search tool, so if it doesn’t know the nutritional value of a food, it just Googles it. It’s very nice for restaurants. I once tried comparing it with manual logging, and it had no more than a 10% difference.

So, this app started about a year ago as an open-source alternative to all the paid AI calorie apps. It is fully free and bring-your-own-key.

@BrandonButch They’re probably running a local embedding while it’s charging at night. They coldhave just offload it to the cloud, but there is enough sensitive data for them to want this to be local
