Spurs are quietly revolutionising their entire transfer strategy — and it could finally end the cycle of frustration. 🔥
Here’s exactly what’s changed, why it matters, and the clear evidence we’re already seeing.
🧵👇
@LeN17ah I was a huge Bulls fan back in the late 80’s and 90’s.
There are very few sports people who cross over and transcend their sport like Michael Jordan.
Unbelievable competitor, athlete and winner.
@AdiiiFCB What a clown post, Kane has scored in 10 UCL games in a row, 2nd in the record for most consecutive games behind only Ronaldo at 11.
Even without their best wingers he delivers.
@thecopybear Okay so you can’t read and don’t have a brain.
Grey matter is a common term for brain but maybe that is beyond your comprehension.
Your handle is the copy bear - not sure what salad you make of that.
Lots of opinions about City charges, many formed from a base position of disbelief.
City have committed serious offences and will be held accountable. It will take some longer to realise this than others. Ex footballers on Talk Sport are not well informed opinion.
Worth a read.
Seeing so much disinformation about the Man City case timeline. Especially from Talksport and its stooges.
No-one outside the parties and independent judiciary knows the timeline because there are multiple processes and flexibility in how they are carried out.
This is my hypothesis…
1) Man City launched Section X arbitration against the Commission and Appeal Board’s determination that the decision was a publishable “Final Award”.
I suspect they will ask the Section X panel to postpone a sanctions hearing until after the appeal of the decision.
And although I actually agree with City that the decision shouldn’t have been labelled a final award, I also suspect they will / have already lost. The rules are not in City’s favour and the bar is far too high for them to get a Section X panel to intervene.
This is a dead end. Hopefully it’s already done.
2) The Independent Commission won’t wait for the Appeal Board when it comes to sanctioning.
They have no reason to delay and they’ll be doing Man City no favours after the club tried to con them with a fake defence.
I suspect we’ll hear sanctions in the November Intl Break. Any truly irreversible sanctions (such as match suspension or recommended expulsion) will be deferred until post-appeal. But a major points deduction will be applied immediately, especially given both precedent and the reality is it will stop City trying to delay the Appeal.
I believe the sanctions will be issued before the appeal commences and will be rolled into it (so they’re appealing the decision and the sanctions, per normal)
3) The Appeal timeline will be varied from the standard timelines but with City on negative points, they’ll have no cause to delay it and we’ll hear an outcome before the end of the season.
4) Man City might seek a Section X appeal after that (we wouldn’t know) but all sanctions other than a recommendation to expel won’t be deferred further. They’ll take hold right after the appeal.
5) The PL will then charge Man City with another 100+ charges for 2018/19-2024/25 and offer them a settlement (which will likely involve the UAE selling up and the existing APTs taking a major haircut).
Again - the above is all just a hypothesis. The actual way forward is not public. But now folks don’t need to ask me what I think anymore.
@3ddivad I’m not saying he should stay a RB, but Udogie at 20 in peak fitness was up there with the best FB’s at that age. Porro is probably top 3 RB’s ITW at the moment.
Gray is very good in the position, both for his age and for anyone playing in the prem IMO. And only getting better.
I’ve seen a lot of spurs fans casting shade on Archie Gray.
What a talent he is to be starting in the prem from the age of 18. So much to like and so much room to grow.
Been long Gray stocks and so far so good.
If you can’t see the signs look harder.
Archie Gray has seen the biggest rise in a single facet grade in the Premier League this season, with his Tackling Grade up +23.0 (from 51.6 to 74.6).
A look at the 10 largest facet grade gains from 2025/26 to 2026/27 ⬇️:
@3ddivad Funny, this days for attacking teams the difference between RB and an 8 is not a lot.
Tonali often drops to play FB. Gray as a RB finds himself in positions as a R10. Lots of runs between the lines and overlaps or underlaps with the wingers.
He has an exceptional engine.
@MelvinAfc0 Arteta would give him the Eze treatment, no way he leaves Fabregas for Arteta. Your only hope is you manage to recruit Fabregas and he brings Paz with him.
@MikeLFC444@CounterPressers@szniic You underestimate how good a passer Kane is, yesterdays game highlights (not multi game showreel) https://t.co/56wfOEzpRJ
@David_Dein_FC He doesn’t win aerial duels and can’t keep hold of the ball, why would he be useful?
He is good on transition against below average defenders.
@NOLAN191012@mikeyshaps Look back at what everyone was saying 12 months ago and how it played out. Hopium is dying. Reality is slowly starting to kick in.
More to come though as the investigation beyond the initial assessment years begins.
@EzeEnthusiast Improved your defense and defensive midfield role. Signed replacements for last summers defense and midfield.
Guimaraes > Zubimendi
Konsa > Mosquera
Arteta is defense obsessed. Need to get used to it. It’s why he plays Odegaard over Eze - much better OOP. Eze gets no support LW
