@BrendanPorath Some of the most compelling golf to watch is Friday afternoons when guys are trying to make the cut and Tour school qualifying when their jobs are on the line. Yesterday was great theater: longest vs shortest, journeyman vs young phenom and the ending was, well…golf!

@chambleebrandel It seems to me that a lot of players are abusing the rule that allows them to repair damage along their line of putt. The rule gives examples of “damage” as well as what cannot be fixed. Going up and down the entire line to tap down every imperfection is wrong and takes time.
