@Himanshu_tweaks Apple music isn’t for discovering new music or artist. Its a “mainstream music” platform that just pushes the same music to almost everyone. From an artist standpoint, its a “pay to win” platform. The only thing Apple has over Spotify is Dolby Atmos.

@RipArtemis_ Plus Sniping is never going to be what it used to be, thats why I gave it up. Every year more and more people cry and complain about it and they nerf it. Plus the viewership is steadily declining for sniping so they don’t see it as a priority.

I have over a thousand beats on my hard drive that I’ve made over the past 10 years that nobody has ever heard but myself. My low confidence in my work in the past has never allowed me to share them with people. Now they’re just collecting dust. What do I do with them?

Apple music is such a terrible platform for independent artist. No discovery opportunities at all. Meanwhile, Spotify will push your music effortlessly as long as you have the proper metadata attached to your music and artist page.

And to add, a lot of the lyrics depict lifestyle’s in which I don’t live. I was angry at the world and just started writing nonsense.

“Phases” an album I released in March of 2025 is my least favorite piece of work i’ve made. I rushed my production, rushed my writing and pretty much ended up with a soulless piece of work with no replay value. Im grateful for this failure because it taught me a lot.

@industrypolitic It’s not that deep. Many Producers/DJ’s in the EDM scene are known for covering their face. Marshmellow, Daft Punk, Deadmaus, etc. We will never grow as a culture if we keep looking at everything with a victim mindset. Btw the dude is French he could care less about US politics

The biggest mistake I’ve made over the past decade of making music is trying to stick to one demographic of listeners (Genre wise). Being trapped in that creative cell hurt my inspiration to make music for a couple of years. Now I just make whatever feels good no matter the genre

The music space now is building around who can finesse the algorithm better. Not so much of who can make good music.
