One thing I liked about our Dracula/Sherlock/Gatsby book was there was a chapter called Not On My Turf, in which the detectives have to interview a serial killer who poses as a feminist icon only to bully queer teenagers to death.

If True Crime can help solve murders and shine a light on red flag behavior, great. Maybe the focus should be more on that rather than laughing at shit and fart jokes, eating pizza into the mic, bragging about celebrities, plugging promo codes, and glossing over trauma.

Used to listen to them, but started to feel like a voyeur while rich hosts fawn over detectives (and murderers) while barely paying attention to the victims. There's just something off about them.
