The Kano State Executive Council at its 23rd meeting on Wednesday has approved the upgrade of primary health centres to the status of general hospitals in Gabasawa, Kiru and Shanono local government areas at the cost of N920,960,250.9.

The Council has also approved the establishment of a Government Girls Secondary School at Dan Gwauro, Kumbotso L.G.A at N411,411,830.39.
