And they called upon the name of Khamenei from morning until noon, saying, “O Khamenei, answer us!”
And at noon Trump mocked them, saying, “Cry aloud, for he is a god. Either he is musing, or he is relieving himself, or he is on a journey, or he is asleep and must be awakened.”
@_matthewpearson You can tell when you have nothing of value to contribute when you need to become a cartoonish caricature. The suit from 1970, smoking a pipe like Popeye. As an avid pipe smoker myself, I just want to smack the pipe out of this dude’s mouth every time I see him suck on one.
The 1st century church had the physical person of Mary in their midst, and not one mention of any veneration for her is mentioned anywhere by them. The apostle John was entrusted to her care and he wrote not one word of her.
But Catholics will pray to a painting of her.
@praytherosary This comes straight of out the book 2nd Traditions 2:24. It’s also referenced in 1st Nonsense 4:15.
But more importantly it’s found nowhere in the actual Bible.
@jared_555@AJWTheology Paul was speaking to the Ephesian church, and “hymn” had a specific meaning under Roman rule. Romans used battle hymns in coliseums while killing Christians. The church took those tunes and wrote Christian songs to them—that’s what Paul was referencing.
@JunusAnna@5solas That’s the neat part…. You don’t.
The Holy Scriptures are not some story we can just play with. They are not meant for our entertainment or our adding to for entertainment.
@hookskat@JoshuaBarzon I’m not sure what the line “he never appeared” is supposed to mean. Are you saying your search for him depends on him appearing to you specifically?
@Vas_526@JoshuaBarzon@bfcdenomination How in the world is the first comment I see someone from within the BFC! We’re such a small denomination, what’s he chances! What church are you at if you don’t mind me asking?
@hookskat@JoshuaBarzon Mark 1:24 And he cried out, “What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God.”
James 2:19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!
@hookskat@JoshuaBarzon This just shows your claim of “former Christian” isn’t legitimate if you don’t understand very basic and universally accepted doctrine. Jesus was fully God and fully human. So Christ suffered as we did and was tempted as we are, but his divine nature is how he remained sinless
@hookskat@JoshuaBarzon I like how some lady that doesn’t even believe in God is making up the rules in which the God she denies must abide by in order for him to exist.
@MrCrowley88123@ItchyWetFart_@EricLDaugh No they are not. They do not believe in the same Christ Christian’s proclaim. They have created their own. They themselves didn’t even claim to be Christian until recent decades
