Rick Harrison from Pawn Stars:
I'm a history buff and I know a lot about this White House thing and everything. Literally, he's gonna go down as maybe the best president ever. I love this guy.
Canadians by comparison have lived lives of luxury. We would melt at the sight of bombs and guns pointed at us. We ultimately just lack so much of what allowed the Vietnamese to be successful. 3/3
A lot of replies here using Vietnam as evidence that the US would have trouble occupying Canada. By the time of the American invasion in Vietnam, the Vietnamese had suffered under and fought against two sperate occupying forces. 1/3
The people who repelled the American invasion knew war at home their whole lives, and they only managed to do so through intense suffering and loss. Not to mention they had broad support among the local people, which is vital for any sort of guerilla resistance. 2/3
@earnestpost I know nothing about any of this but I want you to honestly consider how you would view a 1st year uni classmate if you found out they were driving to the local highschool after class to pick up their freshman girlfriend
@MelbinHotel@alsemancher_@BurnishedAbbey You're right it is disingenuous. This chart fails to consider the the massive amounts of land, horrid working conditions, and substantial greenhouse gas pollution that is required to make the burger.
@ChadNotChud You don't have to constantly shit on anyone eating anything less than a full vegan diet but anything less than a full vegan diet should always be acknowledged as something to improve on
