I am honored to represent Gabriel Taye's mother in this heartbreaking case. This was the last argument I made in the Sixth Circuit Court of appeals since I will be taking the bench in February as a newly elected Hamilton County judge. I am so glad the court ruled before I left.

Same here in my deposition transcripts. I was a Legal Aid lawyer and my supervisor got me to stop by saying every extraneous adds up and makes the transcript cost more. But I still see it in my transcripts once in a while.

I found out reading my first trial transcript of a direct and cross that whenever the witness answered, I would whisper “okay.” After every single answer. Dozens of them. Completely not aware until I read it over and over again.

What do you notice about this scary graph of Ohio? The lowest level of Covid cases occurred in mid-June and has only gone up. What happened mid-June? Dr. Amy Acton was forced out as the Director of the Ohio Department of Health.
