@warscrollbuildr Thanks for all your work with this, particularly since new books are coming in such quick succession! I couldn't see the tweet for it, so sorry for hijacking this one - for Slaanesh I noticed the Lord of Pain was down as 130 points, rather than 135.
@EllarrUK I knew a guy who immediately bought a Nurgle army once after a Broken Realms update because he thought plaguebearers were on a 25mm base.
I sometimes wonder how he's doing, and if he's still enjoying the army.
@EllarrUK You hide behind your statistics and don't tell the Internet you beat up your friend with an incarnate while he ran Slaanesh.
You're a monster.
Thank you @The_HobbyRoom for hosting such a great event. Massively chuffed to go 3-2 with a Slaanesh list I expected very little from. Highlight was beating a tough Thunder Lizard list. Very much still have a love/hate relationship with both Siggy and Glutos though...
@EllarrUK Also had to factor in "wasted rend".
Which....what world are we even living in anymore.
Talking about wasted rend, in a save stacking meta...
ON BEASTS OF CHAOS.
@EllarrUK In that particular case the average was close enough for the variance to tip the decision (similar damage, less variance = no brainer). Decision becomes harder when the average damage is significantly higher than the lower variance option.
Personally, I value consistency more.
KoS finished up! Still convinced they're pretty bad in 3.0 so I struggle to justify them in a list. But - amazing model that I've always wanted and I need a summoning pool!

Had my mate Mike over today to christen my Slaanesh. First time I've ever played a new army that was fully painted. Turned out to be a baptism of fire, got battered in both games. Had a great time π

Synessa finished up! Starting to feel more comfortable with the airbrush. Onto the daemonette painting tax next I think...
